Rosedale Aviation Holdings, the majority stakeholder of Flybe, has sold its stake in the airline. The shares were placed through Liberum Capital.
The company's free float is now expected to increase to 85%, Flybe said in a statement.
Flybe's second largest shareholder is International Consolidated Airlines Group , with a 15% stake.
