FlyArystan is all set to expand operations in Turkey this year by launching a new route to Ankara. The new route will connect Ankara’s Esenboga Airport to Kazykstan's Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (NQZ). The airline plans to commence the new twice-weekly service from May 23, 2022. The duration of this route will be five hours making it one of airline’s longest routes.
Renat Abulkhanov, Director of Network Planning, FlyArystan, said: “In 2021, Turkey became the first international destination in the route network FlyArystan. For a couple of years, the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul has become a favourite destination of Kazakhstan citizens and we hope that Ankara will also become a popular destination, both for tourists and for businessmen traveling for business trip.”
This new route is a part of airline’s robust expansion plan corresponding to its increase in fleet. The airline currently has 11 additional A320neos on order, scheduled to be delivered periodically over the next couple of years.
