FlyArystan launches flights to Samarkand

Kazakhstan’s low cost airline FlyArystan launches new regular flights between Almaty and Samarkand. Regular flights will operate from March 30, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

“We’re delighted to announce the launch of new route to Samarkand. Following regular flights from Turkistan to Tashkent, FlyArystan will connect southern Kazakh capital with ancient Samarkand. The centuries-long history of the Silk Road city has left unique architectural monuments that included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The direct flights to Samarkand will make Kazakhs able to set a convenient travel route to both Bukhara and Khiva that will impress not only with architectural beauty but also with delicious cuisine,” said Renat Abulkhanov, Director of Network Planning at FlyArystan.

Samarkand International Airport is the second for the number of passengers after the gateway in Tashkent. In the end of 2021, the airport resumed work upon completion of a new construction of airfield complex.

The international route of FlyArystan includes regular flights from Kazakhstan to Turkey, the UAE, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Russia. Starting from April 2022 the flights to Azerbaijan will be added.
