Zimbabwean LCC flyafrica has finally commenced operations after a week-long delay mandated by the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe (CAAZ), when the CAAZ revoked the airline’s South African flight crew certification.
The airline now operates a three-times weekly service from Victoria Falls to Johannesburg with a fleet of ex-CSA Czech Airlines B737-500s.
flyafrica eventually intends to expand the route’s frequency while adding new routes between Harare Int'l, Bulawayo, Maputo, and Lusaka.
