Flair Airlines recorded a strong summer outperforming all the other Canadian airlines in on-time performance. The airline also boasted of high load factor and completion rate of 99.3% in July.
Flair's on-time performance in July was 71.1%, slightly lower than its June numbers but higher than Air Canada, WestJet, Porter, and Lynx.
Flair carried almost half a million passengers in July with a load factor of 88%.
“Getting Canadians where they want to be, safely and on time, remains our top priority. To that end, we’ve added flexibility into our scheduling this fall, including adding spare aircraft time and increasing scheduled flight times to further enhance our on-time performance,” commented Stephen Jones, chief executive, Flair Airlines. “As we continue to work on maximizing our aircraft utilization and maintaining our position as a leader in on time performance, our customers will benefit from lower fares.”
Going ahead, Flair Airlines is set to commence scheduled operations between Saint John (YSJ) and Orlando Sanford starting January the 23, 2024. The airline will deploy its B737 on once weekly route.
