FL Technics Indonesia, a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, has received its first 737 MAX aircraft for maintenance work.
The company was certified by Indonesia's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to perform maintenance work on this type of aircraft in May 2025.
This certification applies to its two main MRO facilities at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) and Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali (DPS).
In November last year, FL Technics Indonesia opened its 17,000 sqm facility in Bali.
The facility has since received aviation safety certifications from the DGCA, Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), and the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
In the near future, it also plans to become certified by the EU Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The company is currently considering plans to expand its 27,500 sqm hangar in Jakarta by an additional 88,000 sqm.
In addition to the 737 MAX, FL Technics Indonesia provides MRO services for the Boeing Classic, Next Generation (NG), and MAX series, as well as the Airbus A320ceo and A320neo families.
It is also certified to service engines such as the CFM56-3/5/7, V2500-A, LEAP-1A and 1B, and PW1100G.
