Finnair has disclosed it is considering the issuance of euro-denominated notes, it said on Tuesday (November 18). The potential issuance is expected to take place in the “near future”, depending on market conditions.
The company intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes.
Danske Bank, Nordea Bank, OP Corporate Bank, and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) will act as bookrunners for the issuance.
The airline issued €500 million senior unsecured, five-year notes last year, which had a coupon of 4.750%.
Proceeds were used to fund its tender offer for its 2025 notes, as well as other refinancing needs and general corporate purposes.
Danske Bank, Deutsche Bank, Nordea Bank, OP Corporate Bank, and SEB acted as joint bookrunners on this issuance.
