Finnair has added extra flights to Europe, Asia and the US as part of its Summer 2024 season, including extra capacity on its ‘highly sought-after’ Helsinki and Dallas route.
Flights to the Texan city were first launched in 2022 and have since become one of the airline’s most popular routes. As part of its capacity expansion, flights will increase in frequency from four to six times a week.
Twice-weekly direct flights will also be relaunched between Helsinki and Nagoya, complementing the Finnish carrier’s existing Japanese destinations of Osaka, Tokyo-Haneda and Tokyo-Narita. Additionally, increased demand for travel in and out of China will be served by a third weekly flight to Shanghai.
In Europe, Finnair will operate A330s and A350s to three European destinations up to 29 times a week: the highest number since before the pandemic. These include the relaunch of three weekly flights between Helsinki and Alicante from April 2024.
