Finnair has announced increased frequencies across its network of destinations in Asia for the Winter 2018/19 season. The Edinburgh to Helsinki route will also be expanded to a year-round service from 25 March 2018.
Finnair’s route from Helsinki to Osaka will now become daily during the winter season with two additional frequencies. Two additional frequencies will be added to the Hong Kong route, for a total of 12 weekly frequencies. Finnair’s route to Delhi will also become a daily service during the winter season and a fourth weekly frequency will also be added to the Phuket route as of 10 December.
Finnair will continue the non-stop flights to Ivalo and Kittilä in Finnish Lapland from London Gatwick following the success of the inaugural Winter 2017/18 season for the routes. The Helsinki to Rovaniemi route will also be serviced by an additional daily flight on weekdays.
Continuing with its growth strategy, Finnair will be receiving its twelfth A350 aircraft in 2018 and will be adding several frequencies to its popular long-haul destinations.
Finnair has also opened a new winter route to Lyon, France, for the 2018/2019 winter season. Finnair now flies two weekly flights to Lyon from its Helsinki hub with an E90 aircraft.
