Finavia, the operator of 21 airports in Finland, has opened a public procurement procedure and is calling for new commercial operators at Finland’s largest international airport, Helsinki Airport. The tender will be executed according to the EU Concession Directive and includes a total of 13 new commercial spaces for retail and food & beverage.

Finavia has a billion-euro development programme in progress in Helsinki Airport. The terminal space will increase by 45 per cent, expanding by a total of 103,000 square metres. With the programme, Finavia is preparing to serve 30 million passengers per year by 2030.
