A federal jury in Indianapolis has ruled that FedEx broke a contract that pushed ATA Airlines into bankruptcy and ordered it to pay $66 million to the now-defunct airline.
ATA sued FedEx in June over its decision to end a military charter business, which ATA said was a main cause of its bankruptcy filing in April 2008.
Some $22 million was awarded for lost profit in 2008 and $44 million for the same in 2009.
