Infrastructure and aviation firm, Stobart Group is in talks to sell subsidiary, Stobart Air to aircraft lessor Falko, according to the Irish Independent.
If the deal goes through it would be valued in the region €20million and would potentially lead to a tie-up between Stobart Air and Dublin-based CityJet, which is controlled by UK-based Falko.
The Irish Independent says an important aspect of the deal to buy Stobart Air will be contingent on the carrier securing an extension to its existing Aer Lingus franchise contract, however which expires in 2022.
