Falko Regional Aircraft Limited added four aircraft to its portfolio during the first quarter of 2023.
The company sold one aircraft, with five put out ion lease, four of them under sale and leaseback deals. Lease extension agreements were concluded for six aircraft, while purchase documentation was signed "relating to the acquisition of four aircraft on lease to a North American carrier with completion expected in the second quarter".
Letters of intent were signed for sale of one aircraft, the placement on lease of four and lease extensions for three, meaning the company 263 aircraft leased to 45 customers by the end of the quarter.
“We are delighted to be able to announce transactions relating to twenty-four aircraft in our portfolio during the quarter. I’d particularly like to highlight the addition of our first Embraer E195-E2 aircraft to our portfolio as part of a previously announced sale and leaseback transaction with Porter Airlines in Canada," said chief commercial officer Mark Hughes.
