Ex-Head of Croatia Airlines, Krešimir Kučko joins as Air Mauritius’ new CEO

Krešimir Kučko, the former head of Croatia Airlines and Bahrain’s Gulf Air, has been confirmed as the new CEO of Air Mauritius effective December 1, 2022. In his new role, Kučko's main task will be to restructure the airline and turn it into a profitable venture. Air Mauritius has been without a CEO for the past two years

Kučko held the post of head of Croatia Airlines from September 2012 to October 2017.  He then served as the CEO of Gulf Air from November 2017 until January 2021, after which he became the advisor to the Gulf Air Board of Directors.

Kučko was shortlisted as the new CEO of Air Montenegro earlier this year, however, ultimately, the government did not move ahead with the selection process.

Air Mauritius has a fleet of nine aircraft, including four Airbus A350-900s, two A330-900s, and three ATR72-500s.
