Eurowings has become the first airline to implement the new cloud-native NetLine/Crew Pairing Application from Lufthansa Systems.
The application is an “optimiser-based” solution designed to boost crew rotation efficiency, reduce planning complexity, and support faster, data-driven decisions.
“In an increasingly competitive and cost-sensitive airline industry, innovating and strengthening the planning process is not just a strategic choice — it’s a necessity for stronger operational management,” said Lufthansa Systems SVP of NetLine and SIRAX Jan-Peter Gaense.
The solution allows crew planning teams to run multiple pairing evaluations in parallel, comparing results side by side to find the best solution.
Comprehensive reporting features, including charts and KPIs, support data-driven decisions and improve transparency across planning teams.
