The EU is reported to be beginning a large-scale antitrust investigation into Boeing’s bid for a controlling stake in the commercial aircraft arm of Embraer, Reports Reuters citing sources.
The European Commission has set an Oct. 4 deadline for its preliminary review of the deal, but it is expected to launch a full-scale investigation following the end of that review, which could take up to five months.
