Etihad carried 18.5 million passengers in 2024, up 4.5 million passengers compared to 2023.
The airline's load factor for the full year was 87%, up one percentage point compared to a year prior.
Etihad CEO Antonoaldo Neves said the full year figures represented an 80% growth over 2022, pointing to the airline's “strong growth trajectory over the past two years”.
In addition, the airline carried 1.7 million passengers in December 2024, up from 1.4 million a year prior, the company said on January 14, 2025.
“In December, our network continued to grow as we resumed our service to Nairobi, Kenya, and we are looking forward to starting operations to the new destinations recently announced,” said Neves.
Etihad closed 2024 with 71 passenger destinations, up from 67 a year prior.
The company's average load factor for the month was 87%, up three percentage points compared to December 2023.
The airline had 97 operating aircraft in its fleet in December 2024, up from 83 a year prior.
