Etihad and Ethiopian Airlines have started their codeshare agreement, aimed at strengthening connectivity between Africa and Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
Ethiopian will start services from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport to Abu Dhabi International Airport on July 15, and Etihad Airways introducing daily flights to Addis Ababa starting on October 8.
“Easy connections via Abu Dhabi and Addis Ababa, will enhance flexibility, boosting trade and tourism, and delivering unparalleled travel experiences to guests of both airlines,” commented Etihad chief revenue and commercial officer Arik De.
This marks the first step of implementing the agreement signed in March 2025.
