Etihad Airways has added three new 787-9 aircraft to its base at Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport, bringing its total fleet to 88 aircraft. The new aircraft will begin operations this month.

""Their arrival is key to our network expansion strategy and comes at the perfect time as we continue to add multiple new destinations and expand frequencies into key markets.""
The airline is aiming to fly more than 160 aircraft by the end of the decade as part of its Journey 2030 growth plan.
