Etihad Airways adds new flights to Kabul

Etihad Airways has announced the launch of a new route between Abu Dhabi and Kabul, which will commence on December 18, 2025.

The airline said the new service responds to growing demand for travel between the UAE and Afghanistan.

Flights will operate three times weekly with the airline's A320 aircraft, which features eight business and 150 economy seats.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said that Kabul represents an "important step" in Etihad's strategy to expand access to markets within a four-hour radius of Abu Dhabi, while strengthening connections with major destinations across the airline's global network.

Kabul is Etihad's 31st new route announced this year.
