Ethiopian media has reported that Ethiopian Airlines plans to order the 737 MAX to replace its narrowbody fleet. The airline had shortlisted the A320neo and the Bombardier C-Series.
The airline has not yet stated a specific number of aircraft to be ordered, however sources within the airline have told local media that between ten and twenty of the aircraft will be ordered, though previous reports have pointed to as many as thirty.
