Ethiopian Airlines is considering possible Airbus and Boeing widebody plane orders and is expecting to make a decision by the end of the year, Chief Executive Mesfin Tasew told Reuters.
The carrier is looking at Airbus A350s, Boeing 787s and 777xs, Tasew said on the sidelines of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) annual meeting in Istanbul.
The airline is also studying Airbus A220 and Embraer E195-E2 small jets for possible purchase, he added.
