Owners of Vistara, Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, are planning to launch a rights issue to raise cash to invest Rs 250 crore in the airline to assist with expansion costs. The airline only just received a cash injection of Rs 150-crore as it builds its international preparations.
Vistara currently operates 11 A320 aircraft, which will increase to 13 next month and to 20 by June 2018.
