Emirates resumes second daily flight connecting London Stansted to Dubai

Emirates has added a second daily flight from London Stansted (STN) to its hub at Dubai International Airport (DXB) to offer greater connectivity to passengers from North London and the East of England to Dubai and further destinations.

The airline has deployed its Boeing 777 on the route.

The resumption of second daily service from London Stansted to Dubai International marked a strong start of May for both the airline and the airport with the number of weekly Dubai departures from Stansted increase to 14, increasing the number of onward connectivity options due to the different time of the second flight.

Gareth Powell, Managing Director, Stansted Airport said: “The return of Emirates’ second daily flight from London Stansted to Dubai is great news for passengers, and a real boost for the airport, London, and the East of England. This doubling of flights is a clear demonstration of the airline's confidence in Stansted, and reflects the significant demand for long-haul services that exists across the region."

“Emirates' flights between the airport and Dubai commenced just under five years ago, in June 2018. Growing demand prompted the carrier to add a second daily departure in March 2019, but, a year later, the onset of coronavirus closed the route,” the airport said in a statement.

"Since we recommenced services to and from Stansted in August 2022, bookings have continued to surge from the London hub,” commented Richard Jewsbury, Divisional Vice President (UK), Emirates. “It is fantastic to be scaling up operations even further this year, offering passengers increased connectivity ahead of the popular summer holiday period. Stansted is a key hub for Emirates in the East and Southeast of the UK, and we look forward to welcoming even more passengers onboard.
