Emirates launches first routes for its new fleet of A350s

Emirates has launched its new routes with the introduction of its first 10 A350-900 aircraft to its fleet, the first of which is expected to be delivered around August 2024. The 10 aircraft are expected to be fully part of the fleet by March 2025. ""With the latest generation cabin products including more of our sought-after premium economy to more cities, top-notch in-flight entertainment technologies and an abundance of other customer-friendly features, the Emirates A350 builds on our long-standing commitment of investing in the very best customer experience in the sky,"" said Emirates Airline president and chief commercial officer Adnan Kazim. From September 15, 2024, Emirates' A350 will make its debut with its Dubai to Bahrain route, with the service running daily and expected to run twice daily by November 1. Following its maiden flight, the A350 will service daily flights from Dubai to Kuwait from September 16. The A350 will then move further afield from October 27, 2024, with the A350 running to both India's Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Then from November 4, the A350 will make its way to Europe as the Scottish capital city Edinburgh rejoins Emirates' network. December 1 will welcome a host of new routes as Emirates welcomes daily flights to Oman's capital city Muscat, as well as more new Europe flights with the introduction Bologna and Lyon routes. Emirates will also launch its fourth daily service to Colombo using its new A350 from New Year's Day.
