Embraer has signed a long-term extension agreement with Republic Airways to provide heavy maintenance for its fleet of more than 240 E170 and E175 jets.
The aircraft will be serviced at Embraer’s services and support facilities in Nashville, Tennessee, where Republic Airways has been performing heavy maintenance on its E-Jets since 2011. In addition, Embraer will provide components and drop-in aircraft-on-ground (AOG) repairs.
The extended agreement will cover an additional 225 heavy maintenance visits and secure three dedicated maintenance bays for Republic at Embraer services and support facilities.
Republic Airways has completed more than 650 heavy maintenance visits and logged over 3.3 million labour hours at Embraer’s facilities in Nashville.
The airline offers nearly 1,000 daily flights to more than 80 cities in the US, Canada, the Caribbean and Central America.
Republic Airways, which employs more than 6,000 aviation professionals, also provides fixed-fee flights operated under its codeshare partners' brands: American Eagle, Delta Connection and United Express.
