Embraer, Airlink sign new component pool agreement

Embraer has signed a new component pool programme agreement with Airlink to support 10 new E195-E2 jets that the airline will acquire through leases with Azorra.

Airlink, a regional airline based in South Africa, already has an active pool programme agreement to support the remainder of its all-Embraer fleet.

With the inclusion of the new E2s, a total of 78 aircraft will be covered, helping the carrier reduce fleet downtime and optimising its operational reliability and availability.

Airlink has been an Embraer customer since 2001. It currently operates flights to 47 destinations in 15 Southern and East African countries, including Madagascar and St Helena, as well as non-commercial charters to Ascension Island in the South Atlantic.
