El Al Israel Airlines CEO Dina Ben Tal Ganancia will step down from her role at the end of this year, the airline shared in a stock filing on July 13, 2025.
Ganancia has served as the company's chief executive for three and a half years, as well as around two decades in various senior management positions in the company.
The filing said that she notified of her advanced notice to step down was made in order to allow time for her successor to be selected.
The announcement comes amid the company reporting successful financial results with the airline benefiting from reduced competition in the region amid ongoing conflict.
For the first quarter of 2025, the airline reported a net profit of $96 million, marking a 19% increase on the same period last year.
However, the company had faced some criticisms of rising airfares, though this was driven by the “unprecedented” travel demand in the region, coupled with limited international flight availability.
