Edinburgh airport is preparing to welcome both Pegasus Airlines and the return of Emirates Airways later this year.
Pegasus Airlines will operate flights between Scotland and Türkiye from June 27, 2024, flying on A320neo/A321neo aircraft. The service will connect Edinburgh Airport and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) for the first time.
Onur Dedeköylü, Pegasus Airlines' Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), said: “We are delighted to be launching new regular scheduled flights connecting Istanbul and Edinburgh as the summer season starts. Pegasus Airlines is proud to connect such vibrant and popular destinations, offering a unique experience to all who fly with us.”
Emirates Airways service at Edinburgh had been temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic but will restart flights on 4 November, 2024.
