ECS Group, a global general sales and service agency (GSSA) for the air cargo industry, has appointed João Ferreira as its new regional commercial director for the Americas.
Entering his 30th year in the GSSA sector, Ferreira will lead the Group's commercial efforts in coordination with airline and freight forwarding partners throughout the region.
In a statement, Ferreira said his approach will focus on developing a high-performing regional organisation, increasing direct engagement with partners, and maximising the use of ECS Group’s digital tools to drive smarter decisions.
By combining the mature US market with the growth potential of Latin America, Ferreira will aim to build a unified, results-driven commercial network.
ECS Group represents hundreds of partners in 59 countries. It has more than 1,700 employees and 181 offices worldwide.
