easyJet to continue London Southend-Amsterdam route in winter

easyJet will continue its London Southend-Amsterdam twice weekly flights starting November 2023. The flights will be available on Mondays and Fridays. The sale of tickets on the route is already live with fares as low as £24 each way.

Commenting on the update, Caroline Fitzgerald, Customer & Commercial Director, easyJet said: “Passengers can now choose London's quick and easy airport to travel to Amsterdam from November, as well as the recently announced Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, connecting them with more than 300 global destinations."

The 50-minute flight from London to Amsterdam will continue throughout winter till February 2023. easyJet had launched this route as a part of its summer schedule and decided to extend it to winter due to strong demand.

The airline operated its first flight from Southend to Amsterdam on May 24.

The airline currently serves four destinations out of London's sixth airport - Amsterdam, Faro, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca - with a fifth, Paris Charles de Gaulle, to begin from October. The Paris service will run four times a week and will be available all year round.

Fitzgerald added, "The addition of these flights to our winter schedule is a further demonstration of the clear growth and recovery that I, and the team at London Southend, are committed to. We look forward to sharing news of more growth with you soon.
