easyJet has launched a new route this winter to the Icelandic Capital, Reykjavik from London Stansted. easyJet expects to fly 12,000 passengers between the destinations annually. The new route will be operated twice a week.
Dimitrios Schoinas, London route manager at easyJet, said: “We’re delighted to be adding a new route from London Stansted as we continue to offer new destinations for our passengers from Airport with the first flight to Reykjavik.
“There is a growing demand for short and long breaks in Iceland and we are able to make it convenient to reach both sides of the route and to provide value for British and Icelandic consumers.”
