London Gatwick Airport was forced on May 14 to suspend operations due to a drone being flown nearby.
The suspension was for about three-quarters of an hour either side of 2pm and saw 12 inbound aircraft diverted to other airports.
"Make sure you know the rules and restrictions around flying your drone," the airport announced on its social media accounts, reminding readers of the five-kilometer "flight restricted zone" around the south London airport
