Doric Licensed as AIFM

Doric Investment GmbH, a Doric group company, has been licenced by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) to offer closed-end Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and open-end Special AIFs under the German Investment Code (KAGB). Doric has chosen CACEIS, which offers a range of fully-compliant AIFMD services, as its depositary services provider.

Doric Investment GmbH‘s managing directors are Michael Denk, Dr. Peter E. Hein and Bernd Reber.

Michael Denk commented: “The BaFin licence is an important step for Doric. We fulfil all current regulatory requirements and may therefore offer a full range of investment products, in particular for institutional investors.”

A number of Doric group companies have been regulated as financial services providers by BaFin for several years. Hence, complying with the strict requirements set by BaFin is already central to Doric‘s day-to-day business operations.
