DLA Piper boosts Aviation team

DLA Piper has appointed Vanessa Leigh as a Legal Director in the firm's Aviation practice, part of the Litigation & Regulatory group.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Vanessa trained at Barlow Lyde & Gilbert before moving to Gates and Partners in 2006 where she became a partner in 2007.

Vanessa is an experienced aerospace insurance lawyer who specialises in complex high-value dispute resolution often with an international dimension and has advised on some of the largest multi-party disputes in the London aviation and space markets. Her clients include airlines, maintenance and repair organizations, governments, airports, air traffic controllers, regulators, manufacturers and insurers/reinsurers (aviation and space).
