Delta pilots back new contract offer

The Delta Master Executive Council (MEC), represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), has reported that 78% of Delta pilots voted for  a new comprehensive working agreement that includes over $7 billion in cumulative pay increases over four years.

“This industry-leading contract is the direct result of the Delta pilots’ unity and resolve,” said Darren Hartmann, the Delta MEC chair.

The deal means a 34% pay increase and includes job protections for Delta pilot jobs against international flying by Delta’s partners but came after pilots threatened to strike in late 2022.

“This contract recognises the Delta pilots’ substantial contribution to our company’s success. We will now focus our efforts on ensuring all provisions are implemented and enforced," Hartman said.
