Delta Air Lines has been ordered to pay plaintiffs’ legal fees for wrongly withholding 60,000 documents in a lawsuit claiming it colluded with AirTran Airways over ancillary costs.
Although there is no evidence to shows that Delta conspired with AirTran to charge $15 to check the first bag as alleged in the 2008 suit, US District Judge Timothy Batten ruled that paying legal fees and costs is sufficient.
