Delta is expanding in Boston with new service to San Francisco and Nashville, as well as more flights to Seattle and Milwaukee. By the end of 2016, Delta aims to be the only US global carrier to offer first class seating on every flight to and from Boston.
By June 2017, Delta will have added more than 22 percent more seat capacity versus June 2014.
“We’re seeing growing demand for business travel between Boston and key markets like San Francisco, Nashville, Seattle and Milwaukee,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s Vice President–Network Planning. “We’re meeting that demand with our industry-leading operational performance as well as innovative products and service. And as Boston plays a larger role in Delta’s overall network portfolio, the local community should expect to see additional investments as well.”
Delta’s two daily flights to San Francisco International Airport will use a Boeing 757-200 aircraft. One daily flight to Nashville International Airport will use a two-class, 76-seat CRJ-900 operated by Delta Connection carrier Endeavor Air. Delta is adding one Saturday nonstop flight to Montego Bay, Jamaica Sangster International Airport, using an A319 aircraft. One Saturday nonstop flight to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic Punta Cana International Airport (subject to government approval) will utilize an A319 aircraft, while one Saturday nonstop flight to St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands Cyril E. King Airport will use a Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
Additionally, Delta will add holiday service between Boston and Fort Myers from December 22-January 2 using a two-class, 76-seat Embraer E-175 aircraft operated by Delta Connection carrier Shuttle America.
