Dabbas resigns from Royal Jordanian

Hussein Dabbas, president and CEO of Royal Jordanian Airlines has resigned. Dabbas, who headed the airline for the past three years, said that he was ready for a change.
"It has been a very tough year for the airline industry as a whole and the economy and we did very well despite the circumstances," he said. "It's time for a change for me and the airline and for new ideas.”
Dabbas helped the airline perform well despite a challenging environment, with revenues at Royal Jordanian up 6.3% last year even in the face of a 20% increase in operating costs.
