Copa Holdings, the parent company of Copa Airlines, has approved a 2023 quarterly dividend payment of 82 cents per share
"Dividends will be distributed during the months of April, June, September and December subject to board ratification each quarter," the company said on March 22, with first pay-out set for April 20.
Copa recently announced its January and February passenger traffic topped that of 2019. In between those announcements, it reported a profit of around $90 million for the fourth quarter of 2022.
The dividend pay-out was expected, according to aviation sector analysts at Cowen, who assigned Copa an "outperform" rating.
