CommuteAir inks part exchange programme with Embraer for inventory management and repair services

US regional airline CommuteAir has signed an exchange plus programme contract with Embraer, expanding their cooperation. Through the agreement, CommuteAir will be able to access inventory management and repair services from Embraer's global supply chain.

“Embraer will help ensure we have a ready supply of parts to support our charter operations using the 76-seat E170 aircraft,” said CommuteAir vice president of technical operations Lon Ziegler.

Embraer Services & Support CEO and president Carlos Naufel commented: “Embraer has a long-term relationship with the company and our goal is to offer the best-in-class support that makes the difference on our customer's operations."

CommuteAir and Embraer have already partnered on rotable and expendable parts support for the ERJ145 fleet through the pool and inventory planning programmes.
