Commsoft signs OASES renewal contract with NextJet of Sweden

Commsoft has signed a new three-year contract for 15 concurrent users with NextJet, one of Sweden’s largest domestic airlines.

To support its fleet of 10 SAAB 340 aircraft, Next Jet plans to migrate to the latest AMP version of OASES sometime during 2014 and will be making full use of Commsoft’s implementation support, also linking OASES with the PDC operations system interface.

Designed to combine ease of use with a technical sophistication that allows for the full integration of all maintenance and engineering functions, Commsoft’s OASES is structured in a modular format and NextJet has selected five of the module options – Core, Airworthiness, Planning, Materials and Line Maintenance Control.

Nick Godwin, MD of Commsoft, said: “We’re delighted that NextJet has signed a new contract with us to continue, and enhance, its use of OASES. This was more than a formality and the fact that we faced genuine competition is further evidence of the real added value benefits that OASES can bring to all types of MRO operation. ”
