Comlux has taken delivery of the first private Airbus A220 from Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) on behalf of FIVE Hotels and Resorts. The aircraft is now available for private hire from its Dubai base.
The first ACJ TwoTwenty was delivered to Comlux from the Airbus A220 Final Assembly Line in Mirabel, Canada in January 2022 from where it underwent VVIP cabin configuration in Comlux’s Indianapolis facility.
The A220ACJ sports a hybrid livery, with the front of the fuselage portraying ACJ's TwoTwenty project, and the rear branded by FIVE Hotels and Resorts. With high hopes for the aircraft’s future, Comlux said: “This will be the first of many amazing ACJ TwoTwenty cabins to be developed. The luxuriously equipped 73 square meter cabin is reminiscent of FIVE's hotels and resorts, and has been billed as an experience unlike anywhere else in the world perfect for the discerning traveler.”
