Comair and its mechanics union have reintroduced its Maintenance Aviation Safety Action Program, which allows employees to self-report possible violations and errors. The program was suspended in July after complaints it was unfairly reprimanding and disciplining mechanics who had reported issues.
Under the terms of the new agreement, the program will now be overseen quarterly by the Federal Aviation Administration.
