CHINA SOUTHERN TO BOOST REGISTERED CAPITAL OF XIAMEN AIRLINES

China Southern Airlines plans to boost the registered capital of Xiamen Airlines to three billion yuan from 1.2 billion yuan jointly with Xiamen C and D Corporation and Hebei Aviation Investment Group according to market filings by the airline. After the injection of capital, Southern Airlines’ holdings in Xiamen Airlines will be diluted to 51%. It will remain as the parent company of the latter. Xiamen Airlines recorded a profit of 391 million yuan in the first half of 2010.
