China Southern Airlines General Aviation (CSAGA) has signed its first lease agreement with AerCap subsidiary Milestone Aviation for one Sikorsky S-92 helicopter. The helicopter is configured for offshore passenger transport and will be deployed on oil and gas missions in China from its Zhuhai base.
""The introduction of this S-92 not only helps CSAGA boost market share in China’s oil and gas helicopter service industry but also marks a new era of collaboration between CSAGA and Milestone Aviation,"" said CSAGA deputy GM for aircraft procurement and maintenance Frank Cai.
The lease follows the sale of one S-92 helicopter from Milestone to CSAGA in 2023.
