China Eastern selects EPCOR for maintenance of APUs on Boeing 787 fleet

China Eastern Airlines has selected EPCOR for the support of Pratt & Whitney APS5000 Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) equipping its fleet of Boeing Dreamliner 787-9 aircraft.

Song Shaokun, General Manager of Eastern Airlines Technic said: We decided to work with EPCOR for the maintenance of these APUs because of the extensive experience of its engineering teams, its state-of-the-art workshop, and the adaptability of its customer-focused solutions.”

Dominik Wiener-Silva, Managing Director of EPCOR, said: “We are deeply honored by this new contract. China Eastern Airlines and the Air France-KLM Group share a longtime valued partnership; this maintenance contract takes our partnership to new heights.”

With this new agreement, EPCOR claims to grow into a true market leader position for global APS5000 MRO services, and further expand its customer base in the fast-growing Chinese market.
