Charter airline Enerjet names new president

Enerjet has appointed David Lancelot as its new president, effective immediately. Lancelot comes to Enerjet with a broad range of experience earned over the past 20 years in the airline, investment advisory and public accounting industries. Most recently, he was CFO of Spirit Airlines. Lancelot was also senior vice president and CFO of Atlas World Airways, a private transportation company serving all the major global markets, and vice president at AirTran Airways. In the investment advisory segment, Lancelot was chief financial officer at Highland Capital Management, an SEC-registered investment advisor specializing in credit strategies.

As president of Enerjet, Lancelot will be primarily responsible for driving the growth strategy for the company, and for the company’s finances. He will report to T.W. (Tim) Morgan who will remain the CEO, a position he has held since launching the company in 2008. “We look forward to having David on board as part of our executive team. His strong reputation as a pragmatic and focused leader of effective airline strategies will be a great addition to Enerjet. As CEO, I will remain a very active member of the executive team,” said Morgan.

Also continuing as a member of the Enerjet executive team will be co-founder and vice president Darcy Morgan, who will be responsible for the charter line of business.
