Centrum Air, Uzbekistan’s largest private airline, has agreed to lease five new A320neo aircraft from Avolon. The five aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2027.

Avolon added Centrum Air as a customer earlier this year through the lease of an A320-200 that was delivered last month.

Centrum Air currently flies to more than 40 domestic and international destinations, including Dubai, Istanbul, Delhi, Seoul, Guangzhou, Bangkok, Phuket, and Male. The new aircraft will support the airline's network expansion and growth plans.

On the first day of the Dubai Airshow, Avolon announced that it has ordered 100 new LEAP-1A engines from CFM International.

The engines will be used to power 50 A320neo aircraft in Avolon’s orderbook.

The Dublin-based lessor currently manages a fleet of 99 A320neo family aircraft powered by LEAP-1A engines, and it has firm orders for an additional 163 LEAP-1A-powered aircraft.

As of September 30, 2025, Avolon had a total of 149 A320neo family aircraft and an orderbook of 347 A320neo family aircraft.
