Cebu Air, operator of Cebu Pacific, has stated it will be investing $1 billion in airline over the next four years. The move will include buying 19 Airbus aircraft, domestic expansion, and hiring 2,000 more employees.
Cebu Air also plans to spend P300 million in 2011 “to promote the Philippines abroad.”
Cebu Pacific carried 10.5 million passengers in 2010 and the airline expects the figure to rise to 12 million in 2011.
